Welcome to the Wooster Soccer Association Website

This is the official site for the Wooster Soccer Association.

We are located in the Northeast Ohio region, serving Wayne and surrounding counties.  Our club's steady increase in participation constantly stretches the limits of our facilities at the Wooster Soccer Complex located at 100 Oldman Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.

Our Director of Coaching and Player development, Graham Ford, has implemented the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) curriculum at all age groups and levels of instruction.  This curriculum provides a consistent and goal-oriented framework that guides all training and instruction.  A more detailed description of the Wooster Soccer roadmap can be found here.  Do not hesitate to contact a board member or Coach Ford with any questions.

For general questions related to the Club, you may contact any member of the W.S.A. Board (see Board Contacts) or for specific questions related to the Wooster Edge Teams you may contact either of the Directors of Travel Leagues:

About Travel Soccer and the Wooster Edge

Wooster Edge Travel Soccer provides players from 7 to 14 years old (8th Grade) with quality training focused on developing strong individual mechanics and an enhanced understanding of the fundamentals of team soccer.

  • In addition to regular team practices our Director of Coaching and Player Development, Graham Ford,   coaches every player in an academy (age group) format at least one time per week.  This model ensures consistent application of our fundamental training principles.
  • In addition to two weekly training sessions, players are also invited to attend additional functional training with Coach Ford every Saturday.
  • Specialized training is available for players interested in the goalkeeper position.
  • Wooster Edge players have an amazing opportunity to face teams from across Northeast Ohio through the Ohio Travel Soccer League (OHTSL).  Four (4) games are played at our home fields in Wooster and four (4) games are played at an away location (usually within 45 minutes to an hour of Wooster).
  • Our goal and priority is to provide players with a quality training and gameplay experience regardless of ability to pay.  A sliding-fee scholarship program is available for families unable to pay the full registration fee.
  • In the event that a player is not ready for competitive travel gameplay, any player is able to “train-only” with the club for a nominal fee.  This training helps developing players to prepare for addition to the team roster in subsequent seasons.

If you have any questions or are interested but not available for the above-listed tryout dates, please contact Wooster Soccer Association President, James Fox, at or 330-347-7286.  Additional information is available on our website: www.woostersoccer.com
